f0amfr0th11: On Beerology
FoAM and The guild for Reality Integrators and Generators (gRig) invite you to a frothy evening dedicated to the culture, science and sensory experimentation with beer. This f0amfr0th promises to become an adventure through zymurgy and beerology, lost and found traditions, techniques and ingredients.
Blanc-Mange Cinema
This event is a part of FoAM’s yearly theme ‘nourish’. The process of preparation, presentation and consumption of food, its related cultural rituals, and their informal breaking are used to achieve the synaesthesia of sensual perception in responsive environments.
Doors of Perception: Juice
FoAM's head chef - Maja Kuzmanovic presented, discuss and
extended the roots of our groWorld initiative. With her experience in
guerilla gardening, DIY culinology and trans-local grocery networking,
Maja will look for fertile concoctions which blend traditional culinary
crafts with contemporary food science, art and technology. After the
conference, she will visit the Barefoot college in Tilonia, Rajasthan to share knowledge and experiences with their students and teachers.

Bitesize Lectures
Bitesize lectures are periodic public events organised by FoAM in Brussels. The events consist of lectures and presentations, by emerging and established practitioners in a variety of fields. The talks last for approximately one hour, with another two to three hours reserved for discussions, moderated by one of FoAM's collaborators. The presentations are complemented by thematic foods and drinks, providing an informal and relaxed atmosphere. We designed this series to allow in-depth conversations with people who are great speakers and have interesting things to say, without being rushed.
